Spindle rest

So I am looking to turn some long thin spindles and all the spindle rests I see only work down to a min. of 1/2" diameter. Does anyone know of one that will work for thinner diameter?

The 1/2" is probably based on the size of the wheels on the rests. You could always look at making your own with smaller wheels which would handle a smaller diameter turning.

One option is rather then apply concentric pressure with wheels is to apply concentric tension with wax dental floss.

I actually found that Woodcraft sells one that works, but it does not fit my lathe as I have a 10" swing and the min required is a 12" swing...so I will have to buy one of the others and swap out the wheels.
