I have some free time this weekend so I decided to make some bowls with wood I couldn't sell. There was some punky spots and the end grains torn badly. Most likely lack of skills. Lots of patients and CA proved to be a winning combo. Almost forgot lots of sanding helps:biggrin:. Comments are always welcome good or bad.

Thanks for looking

Richard

Richard, the bowls are really great!
You did an awsome job of using the burl to its best.
The first and third really put the focus on the center and inside of the bowl with the burl "clumps". The second one really uses the pith well to again focus the viewer to the inside center of the bowl.
Thanks for showing.

Thank you Gordon for the kind words The larger bowl is the biggest one I've made so far, it measures 9.5" across by 2" deep. The smaller one is ~ 4.5" by ~2" both pieces came from the same tree.
