Hybrid hollow forms

Hello folks

here are three new forms- all of these are around 4 1/2" tall by 3 1/2" wide (ish)

Nice looking forms, George!

Do you cast those as one solid chunk, then hollow them, or do you cast some kind of void in the center to make hollowing easier?

PS - the website link in your signature has an extra double-quote [ " ] at the beginning, which causes it to fail. But nice website, too!

They are all excellent, but that red mallee piece is really something else!

This has just made me wonder if a balloon placed in the center would help create a good void for something like this......

Steve: I cast them as a solid block then shape and hollow them as normal- thank you for spotting the link it should be fixed now.

Those are so stunning. I am amazed at the skill and artwork that goes into this. What do you use to hollow something that small? I saw that Peachtree had a sale on the Sorby micro tools the other day.
