Well, I guess it is about time I posted a photo. I am a little rusty at this but here we go anyway. Spalted Mango bowl

Your bowl looks great. I have never turned anything of very large diameter, like bowls. Most mango I have seen is much lighter in color. Is that the natural color?

Yes the bowl has a lot of spalting. I have some darker pieces of mango but this and another blank I have is unusually dark. I would like to find more like it but have not had any luck so far.
