Just went out to see how things are. We're we live in Hampton we have about 4" but there's a layer of ice on the snow. A good day to stay inside.

Just check out local forecast. This is what 60% chance perception looks like....I would really hate to see if it was 100%

Wah, wah, wah.... 15 below zero in Vermont this morning... I'll trade a 6-12" snow any day for that. No let up in sight. Miserable month. I have maple trees to tap... too cold and too much snow in the woods to go out there for long.

I was going to post that we had snow last night too... almost 1/2 inch on the back deck, but after Gary's post just too embarrassed to mention it.

You all do know that SNOW is a four letter word.

Note one of our six Blue Birds in red circle waiting for his turn at the feeder.

A Gold Finch flared out for landing in the partial red square.

We also have a pair of Cardinals, and many House Rens, Tufted Titmouse, Carolina Chickadee, Hairy Woodpeckers, Pileated Woodpeckers and Downy's among other birds.

Yeah, I'm just busting on y'all. I lived in NC and VA for a few years early in my career. My wife (a teacher) had her school closed for a week after 2 inches of snow once. It's all relative.

The cold though... our *average* daily temp in Vermont this month is 7. Even for here, that's cold. And it's relentless.

It's going to be 39 here Friday morning, that is supper cold for us. It's supposed to be 80 by Sunday. The biggest problem we have is all of the northerners here escaping the cold and snow. We can't move the traffic is soon bad. I guess that's the price we pay.
