Smithy CZ Lathe

Anyone have any experience with this lathe? There is one for sale in my area. CZ 1236 model. A little big for me; but, under consideration. Can probably get it for about $2,000.

I have a 1324, it's OK but I would recomend puting DRO on it if you want any repeatability with it.

That lathe is 2,700.00 new. what year is it.

Smithy stuff is made over seas, and they have a few issues, but it's nothing that can't get fixed easy enough. gibs need adjusting, backlash on the screws etc. etc.

Once you get it dialed in it's not a bad machine for the price.
