Time to go fishing...of course if this is your catch you must be in Chernobyl.
York Gum burl cap, I carved part of the top away and installed smiley, 41pc intarsia only 2" by 4" tall! A 6 hr complete build. Bloodwood, Satinwood, Paela, Holly, Canarywood and Walnut. Personal drawing. Quite a fun little project and cute as a button, but confiscated by my wife of course. Total size with cap is 4x8"
I need some more of these 1/2 - 3/8 thick burl caps, size not being an issue, heck a 4x4" cap is good for something..but a bit larger is better, hint hint.
