Single Pen Stand/Display

I saw a stand that looked similar to one of these recently and thought that looks neat. I figured I could make my own to create a matching stand with a pen. This set obviously is not the matching set. The stand is my 1st attempt at it. Comments and Critiques welcome and thanks for looking. THe stand is Walnut and Maple veneer and the pen in it is whtetail antler, desert ironwood and pickguard material.

The pics are coming up a bit fuzzy for me, but I like what I can make out. I do have a couple suggestions. First would be to round over some of the edges, or all of them. The other would be to lower the pivot. It looks like the pivot is right at the center band, blocking its view. Thanks for sharing.
