Sierra fit opinion question

I was wondering what the best look for the finial section of the sierra would be. I understand it's an opinion, but would like to know your thoughts. Should the barrel match the clip ring (.4695) or the bigger rind just above the clip (.5080)? The nib end is .4730 if that matters. Any and all opinions are very welcome. Thank you..George

I match mine up with the clip. I think it would leave to much of a gap other wise.

I have found that each Sierra type kit has different sizes(even if they came from the same vendor and have the same plating), so I just mic them all and customize each one. Be it those sizes a very tiny, they can still be seen by me, and the OCD in me says it needs fixed.
