Sharpening Stones

I have a set of 3 sharpening stones from woodcraft in a box.
They are labled
Pink- soft arkansas
white- hard arkansas
black- surgical
In which order should i sharpen?

Use the soft first, then the hard, then the Black Surgical last, all with honing oil or mineral oil to keep from clogging up your stones with fine metal shavings.
