I did a search, didn't have much luck. Does any one have a sharpening jig set up they would like to share some photos of? Shop made or bought.
Also any links to any shop made jigs?

Thank you

I made one, and posted comments and photos on my site a while back.

Scroll down to the post dated Aug 27, 2006. Not sure if that's what you had in mind.

Cheers.

For skews, I don't use the gouge jig, just the slide-out extendable arm. I adapted a little side extension that attaches to the end of the extendable arm. This side extension cups the end of the skew's handle and provides enough offset angle such that the skew's edge lays against the wheel at the correct angle and bevel. Then I grind much the same way I'd do a chisel - except a double bevel, of course. Sorry I don't have a photo of this particular adaptation handy, and I hope my description helps.

Cheers.
