shaker oval carrier

This cherry carrier was made just as shakers made them hundreds of years ago. NO GLUE.steambent cherry, copper tacks at the swallowtail fingers and tiny wood pegs to hold it all together. These make nice centerpieces on dining tables...Danish oil & beall buffed

Beautifully done. I saw an article about these in Popular Woodworking and wanted to try it when I had time. How long did you spend making it?

I have no clue...I make shaker items in large lots..so I can steam bend all at once...good luck
