I had a few of the shaft less crush grind pepper mill mechanisms that have been laying around for a while... I've had trouble with the mechanisms slipping some and somewhere I read about putting a little brass bar between the fingers to catch the turning mechanism.... got to thinking about how to do that and came up with this design... then decided I would do a little tutorial on how I did it in case it would help others... take a look and if you see something I may have missed, let me know... this works pretty well.
