Curtis Seebeck handcrafted pen box

I posted part of this on another string, but wanted to start a new string to tell everyone about Mesquiteman's (Curtis Seebeck) handcrafted pen boxes. He asked me to take pics for him since he didn't have time to do so before he gave it to me.

A work of art in its own right. The box body is made of mesquite and has dark walnut sides with incredible fit and finish and to top it off, a wonderful inlay of the State of Texas. I appologize for the quality of the pics but here it is.

Curtis has got it goin on. His blanks are top quality and his pens are also top of the line. Is it any surprise that his pen boxes have the same drool factor? Not to me. The guy is great.

That inlay is a special treat. I love it.

Thank you all for the really nice comments on the box. I really appreciate it! I am looking into the feasability of offering these boxes for sale. I know I can not compete with cheap Chinese labor but I may give it a go.
