These kits are from csusa. They work really good. My dad has tried numerous s&p kits, and these seem to work the best.
1- cocobolo
2- cocobolo
3-cocobolo
4- ebony
5- B&W Ebony
6-camphor burl (smells like steak sauce)
7-Marblewood
8- Zircote( this wood is really cool how it seems to grow in waves, when you look at a big peice)
9-Zircote
10- Spalted Maple... This is the most shiniest! my dad couldnt get a good finish on it. and there was hard and soft spots so it was off center. So i CA finished it. Took me about 40 coats of med and a huge headache! But well worth it!

I really like the ziricote, especially the straight cylinder walls. Simple yet elegant. They all look great though!

I would have never thought to use marblewood on a salt/pepper shaker.

Does he have to finish the insides of any of these to make them food safe?

Those are very beautiful! I hadn't really thought about doing S&P but those have changed my mind and may be a great add on to anyone marketing grinders. Thanks for sharing.
