Quilted Lace She-oak. Casuarina bowls.

Hi People,
Got this nest finished today. The original blank was 10.75in x 4.75in.
The finished bowls are 5.5in x 1.5in, 8in x 2.75in and 10.25in x 4.25in.
The blank came from "Djarilmari Timber Products" in Denmark, West Aust.
Finish is Shellawax Glow.

Hi Bob,

Surprises me, the quantity of woods that have identical rays and colouration to the she-oaks and the-like however, they always look good...!

I'm blessed with a few "varieties" of them, all around me, either in the shed on in the wild so, I can always pick-up a chunk and take it for a spin, as you did with that piece of yours.
