First of all thanks for all the posts and articles on IAP. With it and a few questions from members I have been able to succesfully refurbish a binks pressure pot and start casting.
I think I may already know the answer, but I'll ask the question anyways. I bought some alumilite white to do some casting with embedded items. All is going great but I was wondering about getting sparkle or shine in the colors. I have some Mica powders and they mix and look great wet but dry flat. I am thinking I need to get some clear if I want swirl or sparkle in the casting. From what I have read I think only the clear will show sparkle or swirl. Still happy I started with the white as its cheaper and most of my castings currently don't need the sparkle. Happy casting. Thanks!
