PR and Testors Paint ?????

I need a couple red blanks. I have some Pr but no red pigment. But I do have a small botttle of testors red paint. Can I use this and if i can how much for a couple blanks. I have the 2 blank mold. Thanks

I have used house of color model spray paint before to color PR. I worked OK but havent used testors in PR. I would think it would work, as to how much, cant help you there. I just kept adding till I got the desired color.

RDH79-I also needed a dark red pigment that I didn't have. I did have some Testors red for model spraying, it worked great and looked great. If you have the thick stuff it would take less I am sure, but it should work out for you. As to how much, just keep adding the color to your resin in your mixing cup until you get the color and opacity(sp) you want.

Testors enamel works fine. If you use a lot it will make the PR brittle and not as shiny as it can be. But it's still very usable.
