Could be. The blanks for these two pens were made by a pool cue maker friend of mine. You should tallk more to your brother about your idea. [;)]

the techniques are more in the assembly of the blank, such as splices and such. Other wise as pictured above, you need be able to do inlays. I used to have a couple of spliced cue looking pens in my photo album. Not sure if they are still there though.

They are, in Paul in OKC album. There is one four point, and one single point.

I make some pool cues,i do alot of repairs on cues,if you find some old full splice bar cues that are wrecked you can make some real nice pointed cues,check my album,when i get time i will post some pics of some of my new designs
