Polymer clay on humble slimline

Hi all

Some of you might know that I've been making pens as a gift for my Year 11 classes who leave school in three weeks' time. Well, today I finished with this one in polymer clay. I nearly didn't make it as the clay cane didn't come out as I'd intended but I'm glad I did as I think it's come out quite well. It was mm'ed to 12000 then couple of applications T-cut scratch remover and then car wax - I hope the girl it's for will let me know how well it stands up to the test of time!

Actually one of my pupils did ask me today if I could teach pen making lessons!
The girl I gave the polymer pen too was delighted as the blue running through the blank is her favourite colour - her nails were this colour today!
