Here are 2 from last week. The first is a Polaris in Cocobolo and gold. It was my first CA finish (with a some guidance and help from Tom). The second is a Cushion Grip in Redwood Burl and Gold. My second CA finish. I don't really like the cushion grip but my mom wanted a click pen and I think she will like it.
These two were also my first attempts at using a skew. I roughed with a gouge but did everything after that with the skew. And I was skewing, not scraping. I liked using it so much that I bought a Sorby oval skew this weekend and I can't wait to try it out. I am pleased with the two overall, but I know where I need to improve.
I am still working on the pics. I have a photo box and lights now but I think my camera needs help (or a hammer taken to it).
