Hello everyone
Would you please pray for Evelyn, she in a lot of pain in her hip today. She was hurting in her back and hip a few days ago and was told at the ER. that is was a strain but it's not getting better so we are going back to the ER. to find out what's going on. Thanks for your prayers, I keep you updated as I can.

OK...they did x-rays and thing look OK....except for some arthritis in her hip...she was told to follow up with our primary care doctor and do some physical therapy. Keep her in her prayers please. Staying active is better then just sitting. She not happy with the news but at least she knows what the cause of the pain is.

She will remain in my prayers. Sometimes the simple things like staying moving seem the most difficult, but are the best medicine.

I have a shoulder injury that bothers me from mildly to extreme. I find that the more active I am, the less it bothers me. It is only when I have time off and not being as active that the pain gets extreme.

I hope she feels better and the medication gives her some relief

Dan, I feel your pain and I hope that Evelyn get some good relief out of the pain killers/medication. I only now became aware of this thread and, it saddens me that that you are just starting a new job and now Evelyn gets the hip problems, life can be very punishing, sometimes...!

My wife Merissa, is having also lots of problems from her right hip, most of it is caused but way she has been walking due to her bad knee, and off-course the arthritis that is attacking her.

That sort of pain is very debilitating and not many painkillers take the pain away, Merissa did have have any relief from the oxycontin and only a local injection of steroids, have brought some relief to her however, her specialist only allows her to get one, every 3 months and the relief only last about 20 to 25 days so, she has to put-up with it, for the rest of the 2+ months before she can get the next shot, unfortunately...!

Lets hope Evelyn gets well soon...!
