Especially since the material thickness of the blank on that kit is only about 0.040", or less, at the nib end !
I think it is quite a feat for a hybrid blank of that nature to hold together so well, given that constraint !!

Very cool! Did you cast that with two resin layers? (e.g. clear on the bottom, turquoise on top). Really like it.
