Pine Cone Bottle Stopper

Though I would try a pine cone bottle stopper. I put it atop a piece of walnut because pine cone is to soft to thread. What do you think?

The pine cone was about 7" X 9"

I think it looks cool.

If the Walnut/cone combo bothers you, just drill out and glue a hardwood core inside the cone. That way the stopper mounts in the hardwood and only the cone will show.

Just a thought.
