The first one is 12" and made from mahogany, cherry, oak and poplar. The second one is 10" and is ash with cherry and kingwood segments. Bot are finished with poly.

Nice mills, Bob!!!

This camera angle helps keep the "body" more prevalent, so the top looks like its more proportional.

When I do these, I include a postcard with the mill that tells them what woods are used. And it has a pic of that mill on the postcard. Then, if they ever decide they want a matching salt mill, you have clues as to what you are making!!!

Just a thought!!

Your "crossing ellipses" looks very modern--should sell well!!
