Finish for pendants????

What do you guys use for a finish on your wood pendants? The kind of pendants you make with the deluxe backer plate.

I've used Deft spray lacquer while suspending the pendant from a Christmas ornament hook. Several light coats, then a light buffing after a few days.

I'm also using lacquer. It dries quick and allow me to use the lathe while the lacquer is drying.

What do you guys use for buffing? The beall buff system?

I'm using the Beall buff system.... very light buffing with tripoli, white diamond, and then Renaissance Wax. Go easy with the buffing as it's easy to wear away the lacquer.

I have started to dip the pendents and bracelets. Currently using what ever is on hand. Today it was spar varnish.
