They didn't mention who made the pen to protect the innocent. I haven't seen a 'pen' stabbing since Joe Pesci (Nicky) stabbed a guy with his pen in a bar scene with Robert De Nero (Ace) in an early part of the movie Casino.

What about when the Joker used that massive feathered pen to try to sign a document on someone's back and stabbed the "dot" into the guy's back?

Well, as it was a (peacock, I think?) fountain style pen with a really huge feather on it, it would be hard to miss if you had seen Batman .... :)

Oh no no ... the FIRST Batman movies.

I can't seem to find the one I was thinking of, but there's another scene I did find where the joker threw a fountain pen with a peacock feather into a man's neck ... it was apparently poisoned.

Sorry but not even close to "the FIRST Batman movies."
The first was a 1943 serial starring Lewis Wilson as "The Batman", Douglas Croft as Robin and J. Carrol Naish as the evil Japanese Dr. Daka. The movie was a hoot.
Let's not forget the 1966 Batman movie based on the TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward.
