Just what it says. This is my 9th (?) pen overall.

I used multiple coats of the Crystal Coat after letting each dry. In person, the finish looks a mile deep!

The photos are at least a full stop under-exposed which makes it hard to really see the pen.

Be aware that that nice Crystal Coat finish will only last as long as you never use the pen. I used the stuff when I first started and every pen I did with it was dull after only minutes of use.

Concerning the exposure of the photograph. The way it is, it is a beautiful and artistic photo, highlighting the wood, and keeping the less brilliant colors in shadow.

As a technical photo, it could be brighter to show more detail, but as far as pleasing to the eye, I like it the way it is and showing the beauty of the wood.

After all, isn't showing the wood to it's most attractive appearence what we are all after?

I have gone back and looked at the picture three or four times. I very seldom do that, unless the picture is worth returning to too admire. This one is.
