Finished my first pen using the Yuzen Washi Origami Paper blanks. I have a customer that has a connection with Japan and this fountain pen really appealed to her. I am looking forward to making a few more.

Wish I could

Beeeutiful pen. I would like to see an in-progress series of pics. Great job!
Tim.

I would like to show pics of the process but my part in it was pretty minimal. The blanks were made by Marla at Classic Nib. Here is the link to the site.

CLASSIC NIB - YUZEN-WASHI-ORIGAMI BLANKS

From what I can learn, the paper is a traditional origami paper and Marla apparently wrapped the tubes in it and cast it in acrylic. All I did was turn it to the bushings, sand and polish the blanks, and then put them in a Gold Gent II Jr, which I think compliments the gold in the paper. I have to admit that his pen project has inspired me to try my own casting. Wish me luck!
