Northern Lights anyone?

This is a 24K Gold Sierra from Ernie at Beartooth Woods. The blank is Aurora Borealis from Woodpen Pro. Once again, let me say that these blanks from Woodpen Pro are a dream to turn. They turn like butter and polish like glass. As usual, comments are welcome. Thanks for looking.

That looks very nice Nyla. Did you paint the inside of the tube and if so what color did you use. I ask because I'm just starting to experiment with PR blanks and am still trying to figure that part out.

Yes, I painted the tube white. The color I choose to paint the tube varies with my mood. The degree of transparency on most acrylics allows for visibility of the tube, otherwise. Painting the tubes will sometimes change the hue of the blank. White will lighten and of course, black will darken.
