Non pen finising question

What would one use to finish wood for a shaving brush????

Greg, I would use lacquer, or poly, but that's just me.

since they aren't that big, a nice CA finish should work also. that's what i used on my first one and i'll see how it holds up. but lacquer or poly would be a good choice also since it'll probably get a little wet now and then.[]

I want someting that will hold up as I might do a matching soap cup/mug to go with it.
