i used a jr statesmen kit the nib section has come apart from the lower barrel and is stunk in the cap of the pen.

Do any of you have a easy processor to remove the nib section from the cap.

thank you

I don't know how a section could become stuck since that part is smaller than the threaded section in the cap. I'd try tapping the cap against a table or such attempting to knock it loose. I suspect the nib must have gotten bent and stuck around the finial at the top of the cap. Maybe reaching in with hemostats or tweezers trying to pull it out would help.

It is QUITE possible, happened to me frequently when I was "swapping" Juniors with barons many years ago. (They looked nearly identical, but the size is a whisker different)

For a rollerball front end, you can use a screwdriver shaft, you may need to add a little electrical tape to the shaft to make it fit snugly.

Fountain pen nibs are more difficult. The best way I found was a "hemostat" (very thin nose pliers) Be careful, you are pressing on the threads.
