Clip that has the rifle barrel pointing towards the bullet nib end the way all rifle clips should be made.
Now they need to make one for right handed shooters.

Brass 25-06 casing with a .264 Copper bullet for a nib and Moose Antler Cap showing lots of bark.

Cleaned brass and copper with Brasso, polished with FLITZ and applied 4 coats of lacquer using the "Dipping Method".

Moose antler sanded to 440x, buffed with super fine steel wool and polished with Hut Ultra Gloss.

That one looks nice. I have not seen a good rifle clip. We spend so much time on a pen to stick one of the cheap looking clips on, I never bothered.

Where did you get that one, I might now start putting them on.

Pen looks great btw

What kind of laquer do you use, and how does it wear on your pen?

I've debated trying this also, but I'm afraid of the laquer wearing in spots and leaving a partly shiny and partly dull areas on the brass.

I Apply 4 coats of Sherwin - Williams Opex Clear Acrylic Metal Lacquer thinned with Lacquer Thinner to a 40% Lacquer and 60% Lacquer Thinner mixture.
Works great!
