First of all...I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! My wife and I had some friends over for an early dinner since my wife is working nights right now. So that left me with the rest of the night for shop time! I'm really enjoying making this style of pen. Prepped the blanks and glued everything up yesterday, painted both sets of tubes white although I don't think they needed it. They are both my home cast blanks, I went for a more subdued look without as much pearl to show off the clean lines of the custom centerband. Both are MM to 12000 and polished with PlastX. I'd also like to get your opinion of the photography as well. I'm really liking my new setup/lighting. Thanks for looking and for any comments/critiques.

I really like the white one with the green CB. Very Nice...

The photos? I think they look great. I'm still trying to get one that looks that nice.

The photos look great. I like both the pens. The dark one looks almost like a burl! Excellent work.

Thanks Mark & Carl...The dark one is made from Silmawood Burl which is ultra rare and can only be found after the first full moon in November on even numbered years tongue::wink::biggrin. I was quite lucky to have some growing just outside my workshop!
