Today I picked up this lathe I found on craigslist. It is a South Bend 9b lathe. It has been well taken care of. There is little wear on the ways. The lathe has everything it came out of the box with and more. The first 7 pictures are of the lathe and what came with it. The remainder are the contents of a machinist tool box that I bought from the same guy. I payed 500 for the lathe and 50 for the full machinist tool box. How do you think I did? Let the cleanup begin.

Looks like you got your monet's worth just in tooling. The lathe was a bonus. Way to go.
Thank you

I got lucky the guy did not want it. It came with a house he bought and he needed the space. It is going to take a lot of cleaning and maybe a new coat of paint.
