Hi, new guy from north east WI checking in. I have turned a few pens and a few seam rippers for gifts. Always looking for more knowledge, and I came across this site -

Just did my first CA glue finish last night, turned out pretty good (after sanding it down back to wood once)

I've pretty well given up on CA finishes - I've had to sand back down to the wood more often than not. Hope you have better success.
