Need Help on Bad controller on a Jet Mini lathe

Does anybody have a recommendation on how to replace the controller box on a Jet JML-1014VSI? The controller box is no longer available and there is no replacement from Jet. Even the parts inside the box are no longer available. Has anyone been able to use a third party controller for the motor? I am looking for a used controller box as well but have not found one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just to add, the motor will still run but only at high speed. The speed knob does nothing when turned.

I would look at replacing the potentiometer to see if that helps. I know that says 1220, but they are the same part.

I found Peter on another post and contacted him. He fixed it and returned in less than a week. Works great. Thanks for the info. Anyone with a variable speed control should keep the URL you listed above.

That's good to hear Mennis. I have a board for a grizzly that has a duff rpm display.
