Hi, I am Roger, a newbie to the site. I do both pens and lots of bowls, candlesticks and vases.

The picture you posted was beautiful. What a gorgeous bowl. Thx for sharing.

I am looking for a source for natural edge stock like that, but haven't found one. Do you cut your own? Any suggestions for a supplier of stock like that would be most appreciated.

Thx.

Roger, I cut my own blanks. You really need a half of log cut in the fall/winter when the sap is down the tree for best results. The bark stays on better when the log is harvested during the winter months. I will let you know if I come across some good blanks. PM me later to remind me.
