my third bottle stopper

well its been 1 year since i made any bottle stoppers.

i decided to make my third one tonite for a christmas gift.

its buckeye burl on a chrome stopper.

i enjoy turning these cause there is no set pattern on the shape.
its free form turning to me. i dont think about what shape i want em, i

just turn em till it looks good.

I made a few stoppers when I first started making pens. then actually bought the mandrel and all to make them. haven't touched one since. Your post has sort of prodded an interest in making a few for me.
