I am low volume (and relatively new to pen turning). I just kept making pens and not having a great place to keep them or transport them in. I saw a few retail choices and may look into them in the future but until then I love to use up my scrap lumber and come up with my own solution. I bought four 10 compartment plastic jewelry trays that are much too flimsy. I built individual boxes around them and created a larger box to house them in. I even got out the scroll saw to make a simple sign for it. I wanted to share with others. Thanks for viewing my little show and tell.

If anyone's looking for these, I strongly recommend the plastic STACKABLE trays over the wood ones. And if you're doing shows, find the jewelry travel case with wheels. I was amazed how heavy a few (the roughly 300 or so I bring to a show) can get!

That's a great solution, cost effective as well. The sign is beautiful which makes a great difference to the whole package. You make great looking pens too!
