pen box

Hello, I'm sure this probably comes up time to time but I was wondering what people's feelings were on wooden pen boxes. I want to know different types and difficulty to do. Also what they sell for on top of the pen. Thanks !

I am low volume (and relatively new to pen turning). I just kept making pens and not having a great place to keep them or transport them in. I saw a few retail choices and may look into them in the future but until then I love to use up my scrap lumber and come up with my own solution. I bought...

For those of you that make your own boxes, how do you put the padding in the bottom and what materials do you use?

Here are some pen box samples I have done for customers. This is in my opinion much better than laser engraving because of the colors and quality. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.
