My Pretty Screwed Up Cast Garbage Pith Pen...

For my PITH pen, I turned a bunch of aluminum plates for fittings. So I had a pile of aluminum shavings and knew I was going to cast the PITH pen, so why not try...

The cast (Alumilite) didn't work as I had used CA to glue the Aluminum to the tube and cast it within an hour; and I suspect I mixed improperly (poured B before A).

Anyway, I decided to turn it anyway. Now If I can just screw this up again ...

I think that blank is something special Mark. Certainly different and attractive, I like it.

Mark; I will have to admit that the finished pen looks a lot better than the raw blanks do !! The blanks aren't screwed up, they just went through a design chance while being prosessed. Jim S
