I had this piece of curly maple sitting on the floor that I had cut a bowl out of on the scroll saw and I kept looking at it. Thought a pen would be great to make out of that piece of wood. So I cut out a pen blank on the diagonal and then made the pen out of it. First off there was a pen that I had started and the wood broke in several places so I worked the rest off with a box cutter so then I was able to use the brass tubes for this pen. Not the greatest but I love the way the curly maple seems to roll when you move the pen... Enjoy Fay P. S. My bear paw slipper and clothes sort of take away from the pen ,but I haven't had a chance to fix up a picture taking place yet...
