My first lidded box

I turned this the other day, it is wormy mesquite. Finish is walnut oil and beeswax.
Also a mesquite platter with a natural edge same finish

Really like this, nice piece of turning.

Looking at the box I think I will have to try a lidded box from a branch & try to keep the bark on, like a NE Box.
