Turned a pen for one the blokes at the office.

Used Mozambique Rosewood which is quite a bit softer than I thought. The wood has lovely pattern to it and took a nice CA finish.

Thanks for looking

Good looking pen, I'm just now getting into the CA finishing and having good luck so far. Keep up the great looking pens

Terry, you have a beautiful pen there. The fit and finish are very good and the timber is outstanding. I have never turned any of that wood, but i found soft wood to be rewarding when it does come out well like yours did. Congratulations.

Terry, That is a beautiful pen. I've neither seen nor worked with that wood before but you did a great job of showing the detail. Your finish is excellent.

Thanks for the kind words Doc but it wasn't up to standard. You can see a few tooling marks on the third photo from the left on the left side of the photo. Didn't notice these at first but once I saw them I had to re-do the pen. It is, nevertheless, now a lot better.
Thanks again :)
