I cast my resin outside, and it just rained, should I wait until the morning? It's a clear cast, I don't want it fogging.

Help?
Thanks
Dan

If the Resin has passed the "gelled" stage, I don't thing that it will affect it as the water can get in the resin. If anything it will cool down the resin if it was still reacting, after that, I see no problem.

I had the same happening with the PR and all i got where some indentations in the molds top surface, from the drops of water from the rain. The PR was also clear (Banksia Hairy pods).

I may case, I waited for the rain to pass, take the mold under cover, turn it up-side-down (drain any water), remove the castings from the mold and seat them on top of some paper towels. Next day, was all back to "business" as normal...!

I suggest to void these things happening, when possible. Put outside while the resins are still reacting (early stages) can, most certainly, spoil your castings...!

Good luck...!

Cheers
George
