Maple Salt Spoon. Turned and carved to go with the salt box behind it. Around 3" (8cm) long, nickle included for size reference. My first ever project of this nature.

I like the lines of the spoon. The salt cellar is also nice shaped. Your work always interests me with the combination of lines and shapes. Nicely done and the level of craftsmanship is very good.
What are the woods in the cellar?

Thanks everyone

Cindy - The lid of the salt cellar is Sapele, the bottom is ceramic. The original lid and spoon were eaten by a dog. It is part of a pair owned by a friend who asked me to make replacements for the wooden parts.
