Making Christmas presents

Just finished this Osage Orange bowl for my daughter. It's about 6"x5" finished in CA/BLO. Glad to have comments.

Looks very nice. Keep in mind I am not a bowl maker and have never made one, but is it a little thick?

Maybe a tad. It's about 3/8" thick -- I wanted to have a hefty section of that bark incursion exposed.
