Loops and end of tools??

Thinking of adding a loop of for or and eye bolt to the end of my tools to make it easier to hang them. Any reason I should not?

Personally, I would not put any type of loop on the end that could accidentally get caught in the lathe.

I would not hang my turning tools. Instead make a rack to support the tool and keeps the tools from banging into each other. There are many examples on the net. Plus that hook or whatever can get caught in your clothes if you get a catch. If a turning tool was designed to have hooks the many makers would include them and I know of none.

Drill a hole through the end of the handle and hang it on a nail.
