Hey all been a long time posting but I'm recently stumped on something..

I have a client that wants a new pen but says he prefers the Mont Blanc blue refills in roller ball I believe. Any ideas if there are any kit restrictions or hat the Mont Blanc refill is most like?

Bill,

From a photo it looks like a Mont Blanc rollerball refill is identical to the standard rollerball refill. Best way to make sure is get one and measure it.

The MB roller ball refills I've used are slightly longer (easily compensated for when you make the pen body) and have a threaded nib end. I forget which thread it uses but it allows for some alternative kitless construction techniques if you go that route, or they can be used the same as a regular RB refill if you don't - the threads don't interfere with anything.

A bit expensive, but worth the cost to get one to experiment with and an excellent writing refill.

They will dry out if left sitting for an extended period of time so they should be for a pen that gets regular use IMO.
